"Durch das Volk - Mit dem Volk - Für das Volk"

Iron Youth is the most popular NS-skinhead band in Greece, and one of the most known in the whole of Europe, after the classical bands from the USA and Canada. "Through the people, with the people, for the people" is their first full-length, which despite its quality it isn't very likely to be found on your local mainstream record store, due to the political persecution this musical genre faces.

Recorded in Thule Studios in Greece and published by German label Hate Records, this is a pure and superb evidence that the stereotype of "braindead skinhead" does not suit with reality in many cases. This band is a band of skinheads and these skinheads play extremely excellent music, no matter if they have their heads shaved or not.

Aligned with many other racist bands from the White World, Iron Youth's music is a kind of intense and fast hardcore, right to the bone, suitable for oi dancing, but with intelligent lyrics dealing with the common skinhead issues: social, racial, political subjects. Nevertheless Iron Youth brings this classical type of basic skinhead music further, reaching areas no one has treaed before. They insert first-sight alien elements into their music, such as military rhythms, a great guitar work, enriching it to the extreme that Iron Youth distinguish themselves from the rest of skinhead music. Some elements taken from tharsh, and even black metal, make this band more suitable for metal fans.

The real surprise of the album comes with the last cut "After The War", a very nice piece of pano work dedicated "to the women and the children of Germany who suffered in the hands of the 'Allies'". Indeed these guys wish a Fourth Reich to be created, and to embrace Greece as the Third did (Nazi Germany occupied Greece from 1941 to 1944).
